The Postpartum Library is a collection of step-by-step guides for your body after baby: the mom pooch and diastasis recti, C-section recovery, pelvic floor leaks, back pain, loose skin, losing weight while breastfeeding. It is published by SFG Digital LLC. Each problem has a free library of articles and a paid plan:
How we write
Gentle only. Nothing on this site suggests crunches in the first months, waist trainers worn all day, crash diets while breastfeeding, or anything that works by pushing a healing body harder. We follow the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) guidance on exercise after pregnancy and the practice of pelvic health physical therapists.
Real recoveries, anonymized. The examples in our articles come from real postpartum recoveries. Names and details are changed or combined so nobody can be recognized. We never publish invented testimonials, reviews, studies, experts or credentials, and we do not use before-and-after photos.
Sources. When we cite research or a guideline, it is named in the text so you can look it up. When something has not been studied, we say so instead of inventing a number.
One answer per page. Every page answers one question a mother actually types into Google, as directly as we can, with the numbers you need (where to start, the step size, when to step back). We cut what repeats.
Provider first when it matters. Heavy bleeding, fever, pain that gets worse, a bulge, leaking, pain with sex, or feeling low or anxious most days: we tell you to see your OB-GYN, midwife, a pelvic floor physical therapist or a mental health professional before any plan, and we never promise a flat belly or a timeline.
Updated, not re-dated. A page's date changes only when its content does.
